Description

The slaking of lime is carried out by adding water in a slaking unit, also known as a hydrator (CaO + H₂O ⇒ Ca(OH)₂). It is sold in 25 kg packaging.

Uses

The most commonly used industrial areas include sectors such as paper manufacturing, rubber, plastic, and paint production, the sugar industry, and the glass industry. In thermal power plants that use coal as fuel, it is used for flue gas treatment to prevent environmental pollution. It is used for desulfurization, demineralization, neutralization, hydraulic binding, tanning processes, drinking and wastewater treatment, sludge conditioning, flue gas treatment, and in the chemical industry.
